1. Room Safe

Each room is fitted with an electronic mini-safe in the cupboard located in the bedroom.

If you have difficulties or forget the combination number you have set, please contact reception – dial 9 for assistance. Upon departure, please leave the safe unlocked and open (unless you are leaving something of interest for us to equally distribute amongst our staff. In that case, we thank you in advance.)

Please note that management cannot be held responsible for the loss of any personal items whatsoever.

2. Room Keys

Each guest is allocated one key card. Should you misplace it or require further keys, please contact Reception for assistance, reception will request proof of identification before issuing you with a replacement key.

Please ensure you close the bedroom or apartment doors properly when leaving and ensure the balcony doors are locked.

3. Emergency Procedures

  1. Please familiarise yourself with the where-abouts of the emergency exits. There are two fire exits on each floor.
  2. If you hear the fire alarm or if an employee notifies you, please evacuate your room immediately. Do not contact Reception.
  3. Close your door when you leave your room and do not open any windows.
  4. Do not use the lifts.
  5. Once outside the building, please proceed directly to the assembly point, which is in front of the hotel in the car park near the security entrance. Hotel staff will be on hand to direct you.
  6. Please do not stop to search for relatives or friends. If you arrive at the assembly point and you cannot locate someone, notify management immediately. Do not go back into the building until the hotel personnel have notified you.
    7. A full role call will be taken at the assembly point. To facilitate this procedure, please keep as quiet as possible and respond clearly when your name is called.

4. Traveler’s Safety Tips

As in many countries around the world we encourage you to exercise caution to ensure a great stay:

  • Don’t answer the door in a hotel room without verifying who it is.
  • Don’t invite strangers to your room. If you do have a guest, please ensure that they have signed in at reception.
  • When returning to your hotel room late in the evening be observant and look around before entering parking lots.
  • Don’t needlessly display guest room keys or key card holders in public or carelessly leave them on restaurant tables, swimming pools, or other places where they can be easily stolen.
  • Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash, expensive jewellery, cameras etc. Place all valuables in the room safe. Do not leave valubles in your vehicle.
  • When using taxis, use only clearly marked taxis or those called by the hotel staff.
  • Do not walk alone on the streets, particularly after dark. The hotel disclaims any responsibility/ liability for loss of or damage to such valuables whether such loss or damage arises from any cause whatsoever or by whomsoever.
