For additional housekeeping services or supplies, please contact housekeeping between 08h00 and 22h00.

1. Coffee/Tea facility

For your convenience, a kettle is placed in your room with a starter pack of supplies.

2. Do Not Disturb

If you do not wish to be disturbed, please indicate this by hanging the “Still Relaxing” sign on the outside door. If you do not wish to be disturbed by incoming telephone calls, please inform Reception who will block your line accordingly. Please note that while you have a sign on your door, your room will not be serviced.

Please be advised that for your safety and security, should a “Still Relaxing” sign remain outside for more than 24 hours, our Duty Manager will telephone the room to check in with you. Should they be unable to reach you or anyone in your room, they will enter the room with a witness.

3. Electrical Voltage

The South African standard, and this hotel is 220V.

4. Extra Services

Kindly contact Reception if you require any of the following items:

  • Baby cot
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body moisturiser, shaving kit, or sewing kit
  • Extra hangers, pillows or towels
  • Plug adaptors (International)
  • Porter to assist with luggage
  • Extra cutlery and crockery
  • Extra Tissues

5. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services

A limited complimentary laundry service is provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays should you be occupying one of our apartments. Please inform the housekeeper if any of the laundry requires a special method of washing to avoid any inconveniences.

For all Executive and Standard rooms there is a laundry bag and a laundry slip in the room closet, please put your laundry into the bag and complete the slip. You can then leave the bag in your room for housekeeping.

While we will take extra special care with your garments, we can’t guarantee that the universal sock monster won’t strike at any point during the process and one of your socks may go missing. We have no idea why either.

6. Lost Property

All lost and found items are sent to Housekeeping for safekeeping. Unfortunately, this hardly ever includes missing socks.

7. Pets

Guests are reminded that pets are not allowed at all, except for guide dogs. This is in accordance with the local health regulations. However, we do allow small pet rocks if you keep them on your person and they are completely silent at all times.

8. Room Cleaning

Rooms are serviced 7 days a week. Please leave the ‘Still Relaxing’ sign on the door if you do not require any service.

9. Valet

Pressing or personal valet services are available, please contact a member of our Housekeeping team and they will make all the arrangements.

10. Water

Our tap water is safe to drink. You will receive a complimentary bottle of still water daily.
